Summary

Plans and executes epidemiological surveillance of human, animal, and vector-borne diseases.
Prepares technical reports for dissemination within military medical community channels
Assists in the provision of advice and consultative assistance to commanders and officials of other Department of the Army (DA) and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies on epidemiologic problems.
Able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
TDY up to 20% of the time

Education
Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
