Duties

Help

1. Provides administrative support for all ODR activities, to include rentals, activities, trips, base events, and lake operations.
2. Takes reservations and payment for trips and tours; notifies participants of schedule changes; arranges for equipment or tools.
3. Checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment.
4. Completes daily financial paperwork and bank deposits. Maintains files and uses word processing software to produce a variety of documents and records.
5. Provides clerical services, which includes researching product information, ensuring only approved sources are used.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience (MUST BE SUPPORTED IN YOUR RESUME):
Must have experience performing progressively responsible clerical or administrative work; using a computer for word processing, managing spreadsheets, and inputting data; planning and conducting trips or tours for group events; working in retail or customer driven activity; utilizing a cash register or computerized till to conduct transactions; and reconciling daily financial transactions for accuracy and submitting the supporting paperwork.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
