Duties

Help
  • In a golf program, may act as Starter/Marshall, assures tee sheets run on time, assures maximum usage of available tee times by pairing singles and twosomes and threesomes, and assists golfers in need of playing partners.
  • Keeps flow of play moving on the golf course, and assists customers look for lost balls to keep play moving.
  • Golf Carts - assists in pulling up and staging the fleet for play, assists in washing and parking fleet when no longer needed for the day. May assist in picking driving range.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.

Conditions of employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • The incubent must understand and apply golf course procedures and regulations pertaining to the position. Ability and skill to handle a variety of different incidents and people.
  • Physical exertion is involved in standing, walking, driving vehicles, bending and carrying objects up to 50 pounds. Duties are primarily performed outdoors under varied weather conditions.
  • This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).   • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.

  • Foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
