Salary Range: NF03 - $61,328 - 67,738 per year; NF04 - $67,738 - $81,956 per year. Eligible for 1.69% COLA (subject to change without notice)
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level, NF-0201-04
NF-03 - (NAF/Developmental)
1. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources office which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies: Staffing, Recruitment, Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations or Training.
2. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.
Highly Preferred:
1. In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess twelve (12) months of prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office and have successfully completed training in Basic Staffing, Customer Service, Organizational Structure, Basic Writing, and Time Management.
2. Applicants who possess work experience with Delegated Selection Authority within a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Office.
NF-04
1. Possess eighteen (18) months of work experience in a human resources office which demonstrates knowledge to apply Nonappropriated Fund Recruitment & Placement concepts, principles, laws, regulations and practices.
2. Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated recruitment and staffing problems and issues.
3. Possess work experience creating and posting vacancy announcements as well as rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.).
4. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.
The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower pay band (NF-03).
Highly Preferred:
1. In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity and have successfully completed training in Basic Staffing, Customer Service, Organizational Structure, Basic Writing, and Time Management.
2. Applicants who possess work experience with Delegated Selection Authority within a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Office.
