Plan, develop, and organize long-range lesson plans and daily class work to ensure in-depth learning.
Select, adapt, or modify teaching methods or materials that experience indicates will be most effective in teaching the assigned grade level(s) and subject matter.

This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
You will be required to sign a mobility agreement, be available for worldwide placement, and be willing to rotate to any DoDEA location.
Qualifications

The Preferred applicant will need to meet the below qualifications:
0485 School Educational Technologist-A major in Instructional Technology or a minimum of 18 semester hours of instructional technology-related course work is required. The 18 semester hours are divided into two general categories - instructional courses and technology courses. Instructional courses must be distributed in at least three of the following instructional areas: instructional design, distance education, integration of technology into curriculum, planning for technology, assessment of technology, technology and special needs, and staff development. Technology courses must be distributed in at least three of the following technology areas: web and/or graphics design, contemporary programming languages, multimedia, digital video, internet in classroom, databases, and local and/or wide area networks in instructional settings.
0301 Video Communications-Applicant must be fully qualified for another secondary position, and in addition have a minimum of 6 semester hours in courses directly related to video communications systems. Creditable course work must include video production design and processes. Two years of full-time experience teaching video communications may be substituted for 3 semester hours of the required course work. Industry certification in video processing software may be considered in lieu of up to 3 semester hours of course work in this area.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
