Summary

As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.

Manage enterprise level projects including Microsoft O365 Products and Services, Cyber Security Initiatives, and other agency wide enterprise IT deployments.

Duties

Help

In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1) Setting priorities and assigning tasks and responsibilities;

2) Monitoring and evaluating performance of organizational units and employees;

3) Coaching and developing staff and organizational capabilities;

4) Approving leave, taking, or approving corrective/disciplinary action, general understanding of unions and labor relations, negotiating for resources, and leveraging organizational processes;

5) Ensuring alignment of project managers with resources from across AIT to enable tight partnerships, relationships, and successes across the organization. Engaging with project managers and thoroughly understanding the scope, technology, customer base, politics, funding sources, contracts, business needs/drivers, and risks/issues to deliver expected results and communicate program/project performance to diverse stakeholder groups;

6) Participating in planning efforts crossing organizational lines within the Office of Information Technology and working with senior management to identify and jointly solve problems. Will manage the budget and resources of the branch.

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-14. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience is: Experience managing the implementation of large or enterprise-wide information technology software as a service solution (SaaS).
