Help
  • You will develop with oversight from senior team members a plan to provide optimal support posture for all assigned platforms.
  • You will maintain and continue to develop assigned modules in Virtual Fleet Support with oversight from senior team members.
  • You will conduct project management for all assigned platforms and/or modules with oversight from senior team members.
  • You will meet with sponsors and fleet and provide presentations with oversight from senior team members.
  • You will perform data analysis to identify issues and help remedy issues with oversight from senior team members.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For the NT-02:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-01(GS-01 to GS-04 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: preparing and reviewing documents to support logistics processes for an organization

For the NT-03:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 to GS-08 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:performing data analysis to identify issues and assist with solutions for Virtual Fleet Support platforms

For the NT-03:
Successful completion of a master's degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.

OR

Successfully completed two full years of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

For the NT-02:
successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Logistics and Ordnance Assessment Branch (E22) of the CAD/PAD Devision (E2) of Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head

The NT-02 pay band is equivalent to the GS-01 thru GS-04
The NT-03 pay band is quuivalent to the GS-05 thru GS-08

This announcement uses the STRL for Direct Support direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
