Duties

Help

Prepares written reports, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and charts to examine products and services, identify issues, and design concepts for operational use. Develops and presents project status reports for and to management. Coordinates with stakeholders and other relevant entities. Provides customer-focused care to the Senate community on matters related to their respective areas of responsibility. Tracks progress of programs to help identify areas for future improvement. Provides inputs for policies, standards and procedures and provides support to senior management with process improvement initiatives. Handles incoming requests, inquiries, and responses to stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

  •  4-5 years of experience in office coordination.

Required Special Skills/ Knowledge

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with physical security systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

As part of our hiring process, we may conduct a skills assessment to better understand an applicant’s proficiency in key areas relevant to the role. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of physical security systems including but not limited to access control systems and CCTV.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Prioritizes requests appropriately and manages workflow effectively.
  • Self-motivated with effective problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Work is essentially sedentary (safely carrying items under 25 pounds).
  • Occasional walking is required.
  • Work may require long period of standing.

Education

High School Diploma/ GED.
