Duties

Help
  • You will establish and maintain the current and future cybersecurity posture for building and maintaining accurate Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and ensuring cybersecurity assessments and authorizations occur on schedule.
  • You will assign workload to team members, allocate team resources, and oversee all RMF compliance related activities.
  • You will meet with organizational leadership, collecting requirements, establishing cybersecurity schedules, and ensuring cybersecurity activities are completed in accordance with cybersecurity requirements.
  • You will assist in the development of cost proposals, including estimating project costs, characterizing requirements, and defining project schedules for the cybersecurity work integrated into specific projects.
  • You will develop and establish up-to-date RMF compliance processes and procedures to integrate cybersecurity into the systems engineering, configuration management, and project management.
  • You will ensure all supported organizations are in alignment with cybersecurity policies and procedures as well as provide liaison with those organizations in resolving any issues or disputes.
  • You will develop policies, processes, and procedures that provide effective compliance support across all the organizations via formal agreements and plans.
  • You will provide assistance and support in cyber workforce development plans to supervisors and other leadership as well as supervising tours for cybersecurity interns.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 461, proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications

DS-05:
Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 pay band in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the public or private sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to some or all of the following: 1) Providing training, guidance, and leadership to Cybersecurity personnel within the Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Labs; 2) Planning and formulating concepts, policy, techniques and procedures, instructions, certifications, standards, and criteria appropriate to the effective implementation and management of the Cybersecurity program. 3) Ensuring Cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into all phases of the acquisition, upgrade, or modification programs; 4) Providing customers with information/analytical support/guidance on Cybersecurity requirements; 5) Planning and conducting Cybersecurity continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure systems maintain acceptable level of cybersecurity posture.

DS-04:
