As a/an Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Meet with financial community constituent groups, financial industry liaisons to government, or research community constituent groups to discuss specific OFR programs and provides information on OFR related events.
  • Lead discussions regarding financial stability risks with key industry and research stakeholders.
  • Identify range of industry views on specific issues and key contacts for each topic. Convey findings to OFR senior managers and contributes material to OFR published products if required.
  • Manage OFR's internal and external communication on pertinent data topics relevant to research and financial community constituent groups, and financial industry liaisons to government.
  • Independently managing multiple large-scale data projects by coordinating all correspondence between the OFR and the financial community constituent and research community constituent groups, or financial industry liaisons to government to collaborate and communicate information on OFR data projects, priorities, and operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the OR-60 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-53 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

  • Experience with digital product management, requirements definition, backlog management, product roadmap development, product lifecycle, and systems engineering lifecycle processes; AND
  • Experience managing cross-functional product teams that combine the efforts of technical (developers, data engineers, economist, data scientist) and non-technical personnel (graphic designers, budget, operations) to deliver digital products; AND
  • Experience building and maintaining multi-level collaborative partnerships. Examples could include relationships with internal and external organizations to ensure the cooperation for competing needs or deadlines; AND
  • Experience in management of cross-functional data products throughout the complete product lifecycle using Agile (Scrum or Kanban) implemented in Jira, Confluence, and Insight.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
