Duties

Help
  • Plan use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities and materials on a weekly or month-to-month basis.
  • Establish deadlines, priorities and work sequences and implements corrective actions to resolve work problems.
  • Recommend disciplinary actions, promotions, reassignments and other personnel actions; prepares performance standards and formal appraisals for subordinate; advises and counsels workers on improvements.
  • Work with the Quality Control Manager to establish and implement the shop Quality Control Plan and performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections of work in progress.

There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications: Ability to perform common planning of work assignments on a day to day basis and set deadlines for task being performed . Organize work sequences and coordinate with other managers for the structure of performing tasks at hand. Work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
