Duties

Help
  • Assists Operations Team Leader with coordinating and training or personnel assigned to facilities. Provides structure and guidance lo all facilities operators on function and duties that will take place during their shift.
  • Ensures adequate manning of facilities for events as well as routine operations. Job may require work in various facilities depending on requirements as determined by customer demand or programmed activities.
  • Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued or sold, safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage.
  • Cleans and maintains recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Prepares work order for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help.
  • Prepares requirement lists for appropriated and no appropriated supplies and equipment due to demand or need for replacement items. Performs basic groundskeeping duties to include mowing, trimming, and edging. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Incumbent may also require to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
  • Must have and retain a valid Driver's License.
  • Mon-Fri between 0600-1900; occasional weekends. occasional schedule changes based on season and or events

Qualifications

Highly Qualified:

  • Facility Maintenance: Possess one (1) year of professional experience performing self-help maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
  • Equipment Inventory: Possess one (1) year of professional experience maintaining equipment inventory to include ordering and purchasing.
Standard Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above in the Duties Section.
  • Must have and retain a valid driver's license.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
