Duties

Help
  • Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability and assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards.
  • Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use quarters; issues room keys.
  • Provides statement of non-availability when applicable, and answers billing questions and concerns.
  • Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys; renders receipts; accounts for and secures cash at end of shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for word-processing or data entry.
  2. Possess good verbal communication and customer service skills.
  3. One-year hotel front desk experience is preferred.

Highly Preferred:
  1. Possess 2-3 years of hotel or lodging front desk clerk experience.
  2. Experience using lodging systems (i.e. Recreational Lodging System INFOR)
  3. Familiar with Army MWR and/or DOD MWR.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
