Duties

Help
  • You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
  • You will serve as a key participant in the development of an acquisition strategy that serves as the framework for integrating functional activities essential to the acquisition effort and serve as the basis for specific program management documents.
  • You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy, and planned progress.
  • You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program and integrate resource requirements with multi-year acquisition and support plans to develop budget inputs.
  • You will evaluate the impact of new resource levels such as budget cuts or increases, and updated estimates of resource requirements to take into account new or revised objectives, technical capabilities, and new acquisition strategies.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
