Duties

GS-13
- Arranges, coordinate, and sets up internal/external events, meetings, and appointments for the Chairperson and Executive Board members.
- Manages the records management program in the immediate office of the Board, while collaborating with the agency's Records Officer.
GS-14
- Prepares guidance from management officials based on analyses of interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of substantive mission-oriented programs.
- Provides administrative support for the programmatic and administrative activities of the Chairperson and Executive Board members.

At the GS-13 level, you must meet the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is experience 1) Providing administrative or other support services or assistances to senior executive officials of an agency/organization; 2) Analyzing reports, data, or other information relating to agency operations, practices, or programs; 3) Coordinating with internal staff and external stakeholders or organizations regarding agency/organization missions and activities.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes 1) Collaborating and liaising with internal staff and external stakeholders or organizations at the Local, State, and Federal levels, fostering effective communication and cooperation; 2) Giving presentations at meetings and conferences on behalf of the Agency to disseminate key information and awareness; and 3) Providing policy assistance or other support services or assistance to senior executive officials of an agency/organization. TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
