U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Demonstrated experience in planning and executing aquatic programs. This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor aquatic programs and facilities. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level.
Current certification in Life guarding or Life guarding instructor, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.
The following certificates must be obtained within 12 months of appointment:- Water Safety Instructor - Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Pool Operator certification. In addition, for facilities that use Automated External Defibrillator "AED's" and Oxygen Administration "O2 bottles" the following certificate must be obtained within two weeks of reporting for duty:- AED and O2 Administration
