Qualifications
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This position requires military membership in the Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG). DUTIES:
As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (D0915000), GS-2005-7, you will provide services in support of inventory control, storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems. Manages aviation materials and resource tracking(i.e. Depot Level Repairable (DLR)/Class 9 (CLIX) funds and all other appropriate air and ground budgets), Test Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)/tools management, and Hazardous Material Management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is primarily sedentary, some walking, standing, bending and carrying of light items is required. No special physical demands are required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Typical work is performed indoors in an environment requiring normal safety precautions typical of an office environment. The area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of basic or commonly applied rules, procedures, or operations such as, filling out, posting, filing, controlling, or coding documents and/or transactions. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must possessat least ONE (1) year at the next lower-level GS-06 or TWELVE (12) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as forecasting, justifying, preparing, submitting, and administers the annual DLR budget request; determining proper fund coding, preparing requisitions; recovering damaged/unserviceable parts, initiating turn-in procedure, preparing for shipment, packages and shipping; Maintaining Document Control Register and ship-out log; establishing coordination and networking with other civilian and military agencies, for the purpose of acquiring required items and supplies; assisting/performing the Property Book operations in the area of inventory and storage management, and equipment coordination; maintaining property book accountability utilizing an automated or manual supply accounting system; analyzing supply transactions or providing customer service and scheduling, directing and conducting periodic inspections, to insure stock items are serviceable, properly stored, accounted for and maintained.
Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Completion of 2 academic years of education in an accredited college or university will satisfy the requirements (30 semester's hours or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week) for 3 months of specialized experience. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience. Courses must be directly related to the work of the position.
Copy of official/student transcripts showing conferred Degree must be included in order to receive credit for education.
