Duties

Help
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of full-time staff.
  • Recommend priority and commitment of resources for personnel, equipment and facilities.
  • Inspect training directives to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Analyze training manuals, directives, and manuals pertaining to training objectives.
  • Provide technical advisement within the organization on training.
  • Execute detailed budget reports for training operations.
  • Prepare training plans, examinations, and schedules for an organization.

  • Incumbent of this position is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Occasional travel away from the duty station (TDY) may be required up to 15% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Establishing new programs from initial operational capabilities to fully operational capabilities;
2) Managing a weapons training objectives and programs, to include training budgets; AND
3) Conducting analysis of expenditures for individual and consolidated weapons training.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
