Duties

Help
  • Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties for organization.
  • Processes governing administrative management functions.
  • Monitors and manages the DA military awards program for the organization.
  • Creates and maintains a military awards database, to include suspension awards to supervisors and tracking completion of awards.

  • Maintains, updates, and posts a military rating scheme being cognizant of rater and ratee dates of rank and organization structure for organization.

  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge to update Human Resources (HR) Information systems.

In order to qualify, you must meet the Experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Processing military human resources personnel actions, administrative management function, military awards, and military evaluations; (2) Researching and applying the appropriate military regulations and procedures to perform a full range of support activities (3) Reviewing and maintaining military and/or civilian actions to ensure timely processing. (4) Utilizing military personnel databases, computers, and software programs to complete administrative tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Selective Placement Factor: Qualified typist is required (40 words per Minute).
