U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Works as a member of the team performing guest room maintenance involving a variety of trades evaluated at grade level 7. Assignments include carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing.
Loads and unloads heavy boxes, bulky supplies, and materials to and from trucks, dollies, etc., moves heavy boxes/cartons by hand or dolly. Moves and arranges furniture.
May be required to drive vehicles up to and including 5-ton truck to move furniture, etc. to various building on the property. Must have working knowledge of woodworking techniques and basic shop mathematics.
A leader or supervisor assigns work orally or through written instructions. The work is usually performed indoors. Will be exposed to dust, dirt and noise. Worker will be exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises, burns, etc.
The worker makes repairs and installations from floor level, ground level, and from ladders. Work requires standing, stooping, bending, climbing, crawling and kneeling for extended periods in uncomfortable positions.

Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to demonstrate skills in successfully operating standard tools and equipment of the trade. Must have experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job posting. Must have the ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner.

Education

Salary Information:
Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week. Hourly salary is:
NA-07 $23.32ph to $27.20ph:
Step 1: $ 23.32ph
Step 2: $ 24.29ph
Step 3: $ 25.27ph
Step 4: $ 26.23ph
Step 5: $ 27.20ph
New FWS appointments will be made at the minimum step rate for the appropriate grade, except as follows:
1) Garrison commanders or equivalent are authorized to make appointments at the second step rate in recognition of special qualifications, skills, and experience of an exceptional or highly specialized nature.
2) Upon reemployment and reinstatement to a NAF position, the entrance salary may be fixed at any rate for the appropriate grade that does not exceed the rate paid during the previous employment. However, if the highest previous rate falls between two rates of the grade, the employee may be paid at the higher rate
PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
Scheduling Information:
