GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing assistance to the Executive Director; 2) Administering, coordinating, monitoring and appraising the regional and installation command functions; 3) Making recommendations to the Commander on emergent issues; 4) Developing brief papers to support best business practices, policies and visions to the operations customers, communities, Commanders and other high-level groups; and 5) Coordinating with Regional Business Office, Installation and Region Program Director counterparts to benchmark and share resource and procedural ideas within Navy Region Hawaii. GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the Executive Director's schedule; 2) Overseeing travel arrangements and event coordination; 3) Providing technical support on business process improvements and metrics analysis; and 4) Providing briefings to command on best business practices.
