Duties

Help

Responsible for creating, editing, publishing, administering, and removing website, app and social media content.

Develops on-going social media strategy for 31FSS and subsequent facilities to promote engagement with community members and maintain meaningful connections.

Works with base agencies governing web, content/security to ensure all Air Force and Federal regulations are met.

Runs regular social media or web-based campaigns and tracks success/strategy with analytical reporting.

Develops marketing programs for the 31st Force Support Squadron (FSS); determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency and efficacy, enhancing participation, and increase financial income to FSS activities

Develop content for all customer-facing formats currently run by the Marketing Office- including website app and social media. Maintains a consistent brand voice.

Assists with general administrative functions creating designs concepts, videos, or visual styles for publication, web pages, presentation materials, on base advertisements, and other media.

Utilizes the Adobe Creative Suite and other tools; creating physical marketing pieces to include posters, fliers, business cards, brochures, booklets, and more.

Operates equipment such as printers, laminators, mounters, folders, cutters, etc.

Manages multiple versions of content and designs; implements new technologies and touchpoints.

Requires driving between different FSS activities, located on Aviano Air Base, to obtain content and perform duties. May be required to attend events and programs.

Preforms other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

Applicant must have progressively responsible experience and skill in multi-channel marketing, to include internet, social media, web content, development, writing, and publishing content for the web.

Must have experience in promoting brands on platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube

Must posses at minimum, a broad understanding of web-based trends and technologies.

Applicant must have experience using publishing tools across social media and websites.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, to include illustrator, photoshop and InDesign; Asana, or similar project management tool; and the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

Have experience in, or be able to demonstrate, general knowledge of graphic and advertising design, as well as knowledge of general art an design principles.

Specialized experience which demonstrates strong, analytical problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

Experience with photography and videography.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
