MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must submit a resume that addresses each minimum qualification experience. Leadership Experience 1: Experience in managing a legal office, evidencing a demonstrated ability to effectively manage programs and work of others. Broad and general practice background and experience in commercial and business law with emphasis in banking related areas; AND
Leadership Experience 2: Experience in operating through subordinate managers conducting legal services and counsel. Legal experience leading collaborative efforts or assisting in running an organizational unit that involves work of a highly technical (legal) nature that has a major impact on an agency's financial regulatory and supervisory functions.
Technical Experience: Experience providing management of matters involving the FDIC’s role as a receiver or conservator of failing or failed financial institutions; Experience coordinating the negotiation and consummation of settlements, workouts, and restructures that arise out of the liquidation of failed financial institutions; and Experience providing legal advice and assistance that arise from the FDIC’s role as receiver or conservator of failing or failed institutions.
Basic Qualification Requirement: License to practice before the highest court of a state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia and in good standing.
There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
