Summary
As a Program Manager in Customer Support Operations, you will manage responsibilities pertaining to the transparency, support, and satisfaction of the Office of Integrated Award Environment (IAE) systems portfolio users.

Your application will be considered if you are a (1) GSA employee or (2) GSA surplus or displaced employee in the local commuting area who qualify for the Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP). You must be serving on career or career-conditional appointment, or under a noncompetitive special appointing authority which provides for conversion to a permanent position in the Competitive Service.
Serves as a senior point of contact providing subject matter expertise for the IAE and its systems.
Actively participates in the creation and development of short- and long-range programs and related change management plans that structure user-facing activities surrounding implementation of code to SAM.gov.
Manages well-defined, structured projects to ensure comprehensive, effective support is provided to users of IAE systems.
Customer Support Management:
Conducts quantitative/qualitative analyses and evaluations of the effectiveness of assigned line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
Implements and/or makes recommendations to management for ways to improve and streamline business processes and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Develops continuous process improvement procedures and incorporates lessons learned as appropriate.
Receives and reviews requirements for new systems features and functions.
Consults with contractors, customers, and users to understand all aspects of systems requirements requests.
Analyzes requirements to determine the impact to IAE and plans for necessary training and testing for planned changes.
Provides user guides and application change release notes and determines need for collaborations with partner agency points of contact on system interfaces and extracts to ensure transactions are appropriately transferred among applications and systems.
Develops documentation (e.g., functional user guides, knowledge articles, release notes) as requested.
Program and Project Administration and Leadership:
Provides delegated program and project administration and leadership for IAE activities.

Serve a one year supervisory or managerial probationary period, if required.
Participate in the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), which includes attending meetings and planning activities; and carrying out mission-critical work at a designated location other than your primary work site (which may be outside of your commuting area).

The GS-15 salary range starts at $143,736 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the federal service. Specialized experience is planning, coordinating, executing, and improving systems functions, and production. This experience must also include leading or managing employees on projects or program teams.
