This position is in Region 2, Public Affairs Office, Media Relations Branch.

Serve as a regional expert in the development of multi-faceted communication products for specific audiences, both internal and external to the agency;
Direct, manage and track the development of multimedia communication products to include print, digital print, web content, social media, and photography and videography for internal and external communication campaigns and initiatives;
Manage and review internal approval processes to ensure products are effective in reaching the targeted audience, delivered on-time and align with agency branding guidelines.

This position is designated as Moderate Risk and requires a background investigation. Unless an appropriate background investigation is already on record with the Office of Personnel Management, you must undergo a background investigation. Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-12 level defined as developing multimedia communications products for a variety of audiences; monitor communication product processes for organizational efficiency and quality.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: 1) Knowledge of digital communication principles, methods, practices and techniques; 2) Ability to review multimedia communications productions operations to enhance local standards and processes; 3) Skill in video production processes; 4) Ability to lead a team in communication production procedures; 5) Skill in project management; 6) Skill in oral communications; 7) Skill in written communications.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
