Duties

Help

- Maintain the health and appearance of plants, trees, and shrubs by pruning, trimming, weeding, and applying fertilizer.
- Install and care for seasonal flowers, bedding plants, shrubs, and groundcovers according to landscape plans.
- Identify and address common plant diseases and pests, selecting appropriate treatment methods.
- Operate basic gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, edgers, trimmers, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Inspect grounds and landscaping for potential hazards, reporting any damage or required repairs.
- Prepare garden beds and landscape areas for planting by tilling, cultivating, and adding soil amendments.
- Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols for landscaping tasks and equipment use.

Qualifications

There are no specific length or level of experience requirements. The applicant's overall background of experience, education, and training must clearly demonstrate the ability to perform Gardner duties, such as planting and pruning, without more than normal supervision.

Applicants must meet the screen out elements and achieve an overall score of at least fifty (50%) or higher

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
