Duties

Help
  • Work collaboratively with Information Technology (IT) service centers and Subject Matter Experts functional specialists with the Battalion and external components to obtain necessary support for Service Level Management.
  • Participate in the development of organizational briefings, rosters, reports, Service Level Agreements (SLA), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), andMemorandum of Understanding (MOU)
  • Participate in the development of Products and Services Catalog, Operating Level Agreements (OLA) and external contracts.
  • Plan and conduct complicated, comprehensive analytical studies of significant segments of major management functions to improve organizational productivity, functions, and processes.
  • Manage the Battalion Agreements Program with management controls inspected annually as part of the Command Inspection Program.
  • Serve as the Battalion expert on support agreements formulating local program policy guidance.
  • Conduct meetings, negotiations, briefings, liaison visits and conferences as required to implement and publicize the support agreements program.
  • Manage the Battalion’s Document Management System library to ensure documents for all IT related policies, functions, and processes are current and relevant to current operations and centrally managed.

  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET eligibility with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • The IT classification for this position is IT I. Position is designated as Special Sensitive.
  • Must successfully pass urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter according to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
  • This is a Key Essential position that cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization and is subject to a 2-hour alert and recall and periodic work schedule changes.
  • Because of the essential nature of this position, the incumbent cannot be a Ready Reservist or a Military Retiree with recall obligations.
  • This position is a Mission Essential.
  • In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position is designated as IAT Level II.
  • This position is subject to alert and operational recall and periodic work schedule changes to meet daily mission operational requirements.
  • Incumbent is required to provide a reliable method of contact/communication (e.g., telephone/pager) and respond within 1 hour of notification receipt

Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe the following quality experience:
developing and managing Service Level Agreements; writing technically and documentation development as they relate to IT services service delivery; developing program objectives based on surveys/studies conducted to identify command needs; and analyzing data collected to explain deviations from objectives.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

  • This position is in the Professional Category at the Senior Full Performance Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
