Summary

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Implements systems security plans, policies and preventative maintenance schedules. Uses systems diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques, runs tests to verify operability and functionality.
Carries out routine maintenance, upgrade, and support of servers. Performs assignments using standard principles, theories, concepts and methods for systems administration and systems engineering.
Provides optimization and problem solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities. Provides information and instructions related to the maintenance and service process. Runs system backups.
Prepares and presents reports and briefings to technical staff. Interprets IT policies, standards and guidelines. Develops network usage policies and procedures. Applies information security and assurance policy, principles, and practices.
Serves as liaison for MIS System with IMCOM G6, G9 Tech Services, and Vermont Systems. Performs other duties as assigned.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a Tier III (secret) investigation.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Driver's License required to operate government vehicle to perform service calls.
Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
Obtain Operating Systems training, Computing Environment Certification (required by NEC) within 2 months of employment.
Business operations are Monday-Friday but is subject to change and will be based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays are required during MWR events.
Qualifications
Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.

Principles and methods for integrating information systems components;
Performance tuning tools and techniques;
System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques;
Systems administration methods; and
IT security principles.
Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit).
Possess knowledge of RecTrac and CYMS systems.
Possess a Security Plus Certificate and or IAT-II Technical Certification (CompTIA Security+ and SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)).
Possess experience in the procurment process for IT equipment and processing CHESS approval.
