Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment.
This is a mission essential position and may require shift work and/or work on rotating shifts to provide coverage in the evenings, weekends, holidays and other situations.

Must be willing to accept a term appointment scheduled to last 13 months.
Must be willing to complete one year trial period.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to perform common Maintenance Worker (MVO) tasks, such as: 1) performing ground keeping and/or building work repairs; 2) moving bulky items such as equipment and materials to, from, and within various buildings; and 3) operating motor vehicles in performance of these duties. Use hand and power tools for roofing, carpentry, and painting work. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical Effort: Stands, walks, and bends while performing the work. Lifts and carries equipment and materials weighing up to 40 pounds. The work requires considerable physical effort for long periods in handling materials and operating equipment.
Working Conditions: Works inside and outside in all types of weather. Subject to injury from handling equipment, burns, fumes, noise, falls, cuts, dirt, and grease. May be required to wear protective clothing and equipment.
