Serves as a Lifeguard Trainee in the Aquatics Dept. of the Hale Koa Hotel.
Position will remain open until filled with a first cutoff date of 2/28/24 for employment consideration. Additional lists will be pulled after this first cut-off date at the request of the hiring manager.
Local candidates will be reviewed first; PCS is not authorized. If the area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered.
Pay is subject to change moderately based on any DoD wage adjustment.

This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard. Those hired for this position will be required to complete the lifeguard training to include the acquisition of all certifications (listed below) within 30 days of employment. Those who fail to do so will be released from employment.
Lifeguarding certifications include:
- Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS);
- CPR/AED (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS)
- O2 Administration (American Red Cross or installation offered training)
1. Must be able to swim.
2. Must be able to participate in the lifeguard certifications.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
