Duties

Help

As an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN), GS-2210-12, you may be expected to accomplish the following::

  • Establish policies and procedures for accomplishment of the organization's mission
  • Identify need for changes in priorities and take action to implement such IT infrastructure changes.
  • Work closely with Automations, Network and Cyber Branch within the NJARNG-G6 and NGB Enterprise.
  • Recommend Infrastructure changes and manage Data center Life Cycle replacement.

Military Requirements

Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Grades: E4-E8

Qualifications

General Experience
Must have the following experience(s):

  • Understand the concepts of the CIA Triad.
  • Understand the stages and concepts required to automate technological processes.
  • Worked as a System Administrator, End Point Manager, Infrastructure Administrator and/or Network administrator.
Specialized Experience
Must have 36-72 months of the following experience(s):
  • Working with Multiple hypervisor environments.
  • Understanding and Implementing DISA STIGS.
  • Working with Multiple Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience working with Change Management Board.
