Duties

Help
  • Serve as organizational focal point for contract management issues and related new automated management program implementation and analysis.
  • Provide input for, and participate in, Mission Management Reviews (MMRs), and Special Management Reviews (SMR) to track accomplishment of organizational goals and tasks.
  • Analyze a wide variety of detailed management information and coordinate the preparation of recurring data and special reports for submission to the Commander/Director, Agency Headquarters and Team Leaders.
  • Furnish contract management technical assistance, guidance, advice and policy/ procedure interpretation to management and multi-functional teams.
  • Promote continuous improvement of both team functions and the products and services delivered to customers. Devises new innovative methods and procedures to facilitate the overall work.
  • Consult and coordinate with other process owners and team members regarding the impact of contract management changes on their respective areas in order to develop sound conclusions and approaches.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

  • Utilizing an organization's mission objectives, goals and functions to evaluate and measure improvement of programs as well as operational effectiveness and productivity.
  • Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and programs.
  • Collecting and presenting information on operations and programs to resolve issues which affect the accomplishment of mission goals.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
