Summary

The duty location for this position is Wiesbaden, Germany with a 24-month temporary change in station (TCS) to Zagan, Poland. This is an unaccompanied tour (or accompanied tour with dependent family members over the age of 18).

Duties

Help
  • Assist in the management and accountability of assigned property and performs a wide variety of supply clerical functions to include the requisition, receipt, storage, issue, and transfer of property items.
  • Issues all turn-in documents, inventory adjustments, and hand receipt documents.
  • Moves and / or carries furniture and equipment on a regular basis using lifting / moving devices. Some heavy lifting is involved w/o assistance.
  • Ensures that program goals are met by guarding against and reducing fraud, waste and abuse.

  • The location of this position is in Wiesbaden, Germany. Selectee will receive Temporary Change in Station (TCS) orders to Zagan, Poland to serve a 24-month, unaccompanied tour.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain an Official No-fee Passport
  • Privately-owned vehicle's (POV) must be registered in Poland. You will be required to register on the Polish economy and obtain insurance. Some insurance companies may not provide coverage for Poland.
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's license with the ability to obtain and maintain a valid US Army Europe (USAREUR) Certificate of license. License must be obtained within 30 days of arrival on site.

Qualifications

Work experience in supply operations preforming physical inventor, adjusting and maintaining stock. Maintains property account documents, establish supply policies, servicing techniques, regulations, and/or procedures. Operates computer programs.

Highly Qualified Criteria:

  1. A minimum of 1 years' experience with NAF property at a garrison.
  2. Possess knowledge and experience in APF & NAF policies governing property and facilities.
  3. Possess organization skills with the ability to support multiple locations effectively.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Foreign overseas allowances may include post allowance, living quarters allowance(LQA), Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA), home leave. Selectees will have their eligibility for foreign area benefits determined at the time of hire in accordance with Department of State Standardized Regulation (DSSR) and DoDI 1400.25 volume 1250.
  • Government housing, medical, dining, AAFES and DECA Commissary facilities are NOT available in Poland.
