Provides cybersecurity and cyber defense system engineering and technical direction to system integrators.
Advises the PM on cybersecurity architecture requirements, objectives, policies, processes, and procedures.
Provides systems engineering expertise and direction of data centers, and future implementations of system architectures and potential moves to a cloud-based system.
Monitors actions and projects as appropriate to ensure availability of needed resources, meeting of projected timeframes, and required coordination.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Ensuring the effective execution of cyber-threat risk analysis and mitigation techniques through general cyber-attack stages (e.g. foot printing and scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering attacks); AND 2) Directing a cyber defense coalition to protect, monitor, analyze, detect and respond to network attacks, intrusions, disruptions or other unauthorized actions that would compromise or cripple a defense information system and networks.
