Coordinates the administrative and clerical support work for the AD and ensures that OIG policies and procedures are consistently used by staff members. These include procurement, communications, emergency planning, personal property management, records management, mail management, physical security, space management, travel, transportation, and GSA vehicles.
Responsible for issuance and inventory of credentials for OIG AD personnel.
Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) exercising responsibility to monitor contracts including monitoring performance and progress, documenting performances of services, perform acceptance for the government of supplies and services received, maintain liaison and communications with both the contractor and the contracting officer, recommend modifications and termination actions, report suspected conflict of interest or fraud, waste, and abuse, etc.
Tracks fiscal year budget allocations and expenditures for travel, training, supplies, awards, and miscellaneous expenses for AD.
Serves as the OIG AD Records Officer and is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the records and information management systems. This includes coordinating with the Agency Records Officers on scheduling for disposal and archiving.
Assists AD personnel, if needed, with making travel arrangements, ensuring conformance with the travel regulations and CONCUR. Processes all local travel vouchers in Oracle.
You must be a current SBA career/conditional competitive service employee.
You must successfully complete a background investigation.
You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience Statements:
GS-11: One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service that is directly in, or related to, the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: handling daily operations of basic office administrative functions, which include requisitions, procurement of supplies and furniture/equipment, procurement of special services, records management, travel, supply management, space management, property office security, workplace health and safety issues, etc. with close supervision; OR
Completed three (3) full academic years of progressively higher graduate level education or LL.M., or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral agree in a related field such as Business Management; OR
Combination of education and experience. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent.
