About the Position:
The incumbent works for the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) software system National Support Center and report directly to the FEM Project Manager. FEM is a Corps wide Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system mandated for use on a nationwide basis to manage the maintenance of real and personal property assets throughout the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and to facilitate the Corps' Asset Management Program.

Duties

Help
  • The incumbent is assigned to the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) software system National Support Center (NSC) and reports directly to the FEM Project Manager (FEM PM).
  • Develop enterprise data reports with FEM data, coordinate with various platforms for posting the data reports to production, integrate other Automated Information Systems (AIS) databases as necessary, and sustain all FEM data reports in production.
  • Creation, proofing, and sustainment of all enterprise data reports developed from FEM data and posted to platforms such as EDW, Qlik Sense, and Power BI.
  • The incumbent will assist in the development of data reports at the local and regional level to provide management with a status of various performance parameters.
  • Incumbent will provide FEM data for audits or data calls as requested by the FEM PM.
  • The incumbent will assist in designing customizable FEM system dashboards.
  • The incumbent will serve as customer support on the FEM Helpdesk as requested.
  • The incumbent will serve as a FEM trainer presenting on FEM data reports.
  • The incumbent will assist in the updating of FEM guides, manuals, and any other enterprise report documentation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), such as FEM/MAXIMO, to track maintenance operations at multiple sites/large industrial facility AND experience creating reports from an Oracle database or equivalent. This experience is reflected in my resume. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
