Duties

Help
  • Brief on all aspects of seeking out and delivering information and knowledge products.
  • Determine appropriate products or services with both internal and external customers to define project scope, identify requirements and provide deliverables.
  • Perform broad-scope and long-range program and project management studies for District programs to refine business processes using the PROMIS system.
  • Evaluate flow of information, identifies areas where confusion, and/or misinformation exist, develops necessary guidance, and when necessary, recommends/develops and oversees formal or informal training as appropriate.
  • Advise management on the current status of issues and problems on initiatives, programs and specific project issues and reports
  • Identify project documentation requirements or procedures and develops and implements product release plan if required for the project.

This is a Temporary Promotion Opportunity:This is a temporary promotion opportunity for Current Army Employees. Position may be filled as a Temporary Promotion NTE 1 year. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. Or Position may be filled as a Detail to positions at the same, lower or higher grade NTE 120 calendar days. Details may be extended in 120-day increments, not to exceed 1 year. Return Rights will be negotiated prior to EOD.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Analyzing and evaluating an organizations mission through programs and projects utilizing several systems, databases and analytical methods to resolve problems within the organization.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
  • Database Management Systems
  • Oral Communication
  • Program Management
  • Reporting


Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Education
