Summary

Uses Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to create geotechnically oriented databases to include data maintenance, analysis, entry, and conversion.
Perform data research, investigation, and verification; assist with solving technical problems and determining possible solutions.
Reviews plans and specifications and drawings, and geotechnical databases, and maps prepared by A-E contractors for conformance to established design criteria, USACE standards, accuracy and adequacy of the drawings and indicates recommended changes.
Compiles and analyzes statistical data and develops analysis and trends for problems under study.
Compiles and provides input to Engineering Resources Management Plan, including Annual Work Plans.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
The business travel requirement is 5%.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes developing and completing advanced technical and design assignments using Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) using Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.; Assist with creating drawings and make modifications to features for various Civil Works, military projects; knowledge of using AEC CADD Standards, Experience and familiarity using Geographic Information System (GIS) software (i.e., Esri ArcGIS Pro), and building, editing and maintaining geodatabases to include gINT, and/or Open Ground Cloud software.
Education
