This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Lead as a senior Traffic management Specialist and Team Leader.
Provide transportation and traffic management foundation and applied expertise in the review and development of policies and procedures associated with transportation.
Ensure that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team.
interfaces with system administrators to monitor processes and functions for automated transportation systems.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires incumbent to obtain AMMO 62 requirement within (1) ONE YEAR.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes: providing expertise in a particular functional area of traffic management for overall traffic program management, carry out projects to improve the efficiency and productivity of transportation services, and provides input to leadership on transportation setbacks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
