The position is located in the Enterprise End User Technology (EEUT) of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), within The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). The OCIO is responsible for all United States Attorneys' information technology (IT) operations throughout the 94 United States Attorney Offices (USAOs). The EEUT program is established to maintain a secure, flexible, and robust infrastructure platform to deliver information anytime, anywhere, and in any manner needed by U.S. Attorney personnel. Duties include:
- Serving as the EEUT Information System Security Officer (ISSO) who is responsible for isolating and defining conditions and resolving critical cybersecurity issues for the EOUSA OCIO organization.
- Serving as the principal advisor to the Information System Owner (ISO), Business Process Owner, the Assistant Director for EEUT on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of EEUT information systems.
-Overseeing project implementation by providing strategic vision and ensuring the implementation and maintenance of security controls in accordance with the Security Plan (SP) and Department of Justice (DOJ) policies.
-Providing expert EEUT guidance, oversight, and expertise related to information security systems, developing security documents, and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of EOUSA EEUT systems for mission activities.
- Ensuring IT systems comply with applicable laws and regulations by implementing security requirements and integrating security programs across disciplines.
-Analyzing Information Systems security threats and based on review and evaluation of security incident response policies and identifies the need for changes.
-Managing information technology projects related to information security of OA programs to develop, manage, and oversee execution of project schedule to provide a unique service or product.
-Serving as the Contract Officer Technical Representative (COTR) and performs corresponding duties in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Departmental and EOUSA procurement guidance and policy.
