Help
  • At the full performance level (GS-11) the incumbent will have the following duties:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the engineering data systems.
  • Serve as the District’s primary ProjNet accounts administrator.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to the creation, editing, handling, and archival of engineering documents and related information throughout the engineering design cycles.
  • Evaluates existing processes and procedures and proposes updates or new methodologies for improvements.
  • Work with the USACE Enterprise Engineering Document Management Team to ensure proper implementation of the Document Management systems.
  • Work in conjunction with design teams to establish and maintain template folder structures for various project types and design missions within the Document Management System.
  • Develop, maintain, and provide local user training on use of the document management system and the network file shares.
  • Serve as the primary government Purchase Card Holder.
  • Serve as the lead in coordinating, managing, and reconciling of Accountable Property and documentations.
  • Contribute to and manage the local CADBIM Management SharePoint knowledgebase.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert in use of and training on the local property management system and enterprise Automated Personal Property Management System (APPMS).

  • Must complete local and regulatory government credit card training within 12 months.
  • Must obtain the Bentley ProjectWise Administrator certification within 18 months.
  • Must obtain the NIBS ProjNet Administrator certification within 12 months.
  • Must obtain the Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals Certification within 24 months.
  • Must be qualified to drive Government vehicles in accordance with the Corps of Engineers standards. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25%.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Using established processes and procedures to troubleshoot issues relating to management of engineering document and business data systems; 2) Performing data entry of design contract information or similar data sets and reviewing data for completeness and accuracy; 3) Assisting with training and development of training material on use of engineering data systems; 4) Assisting with development of policies and procedures relating to creation, editing, versioning, and archival of engineering and business documents; 5) Managing of ProjectWise user groups/lists memberships and document/folder permissions; 6) Managing and tracking accountable property and related documents using the USACE Automated Person Property Management System (APPMS) and other pertinent technologies; and/or 7) Serving as an authorized Government Purchase Card holder and following established procedures, rules, and regulations to procure software, hardware, and supplies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
