Duties

Help
  • Serve as a digital strategist, consultant, and catalyst for improving the way the CC delivers information to its stakeholders and the public via its digital platforms (e.g., website, social media channels, and apps).
  • Develop digital communication plans to deliver content to various key audiences including but not limited to patients and their families and the research and scientific community.
  • Advise on and implements plans to obtain qualitative user feedback, including website usability studies.
  • Serve as manager for CC social media operations and coordinate and carry out the hospital’s social media activities in alignment with its overall communications strategies.
  • Expertly write and/or edit a wide array of digital (including website) content.
  • Consult on the development, formulation and articulation of new or redesigned digital content to ensure implementation of policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to juggle priorities and determine the best digital approach for the CC, with an eye on reaching key audiences, including but not limited to patients and their families and the research and scientific communities.
  • Apply metrics and campaign tagging to set goals, enhance digital work, and incorporate the best analytics, search and site improvement techniques.

Qualifications

You qualify at the GS-12 level if you meet the following qualification requirement:

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing digital/web and social media content; monitoring related digital and social media analytics to make recommendations on digital and social media content strategies; using appropriate methods to increase engagement on social media platforms and improve web metrics; using content management systems to develop and post content for digital platforms within a scientific, research, or healthcare enterprise.

You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
