Summary

The incumbent is directly responsible for supervising, planning, directing, and coordinating analytical and evaluative work and the execution of activities related to project management, learning management,  and adult education plan development. 

Location of Position: This is a virtual position and duty location of this position will be determined upon selection.

Help

  • Leads workforce development through building a future-focused vision by identifying emerging roles and skill sets.

  • Directly plans staff work assignments on an ongoing basis as well as provides technical and administrative supervision. Evaluates work performance.  Identifies developmental and training needs of employees and fosters an inclusive workplace.
  • Plans and organizes in-person and virtual GSA sponsored/co-sponsored events and training conferences. Participates in third party sponsored conferences and trade shows.

  • Leads the preparation and delivery of presentations on customer and program requirements related to outreach, training, and events management.

  • Analyzes and implements the best technology platforms needed for each training/event as virtual, hybrid, and in-person platforms continue to evolve.

  • Creates training materials and event campaigns using Salesforce Customer Relationship Management and FAS’ virtual event platform.

  • Builds a shared vision with others.  Performs liaison, advisory, and consultant duties across the team and among business lines.

  • Promotes the sharing of insights and best practices across different business lines, ensuring that the customer's voice influences every aspect of the organization's operations and strategy.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $116,393.00 per year.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized Experience:

Specialized experience is experience managing a large training program, to include overseeing instructional design, curriculum development, registration, logistics, event planning, budgeting, marketing and outreach using conventional and emerging technologies, and representing the training program to senior management and other audiences.
