You will serve as the point of contact for all natural resource conservation requirements for the NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Environmental Division and Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) Environmental Program (N45).
You will provide expert consultation services on the natural resources program and work collaboratively across commands to support shore installation management projects and initiatives.
You will consult on and provide support for environmental planning efforts pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the regulatory consultations and permitting for facilities construction actions
You and your team will ensure that requirements of federal, state, and local environmental conservation laws, rules and regulations are upheld in the Mid-Atlantic region.
You will plan, program budget and execute installation environmental conservation requirements, to include funding, staffing, and acquisition planning for NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic and supported commands.
You will provide direct administrative and technical supervision to natural resources specialists, assisting subordinates with problems and providing interpretation of regulatory material and actions to be taken.

Qualifications
Selective Placement Factor (SPF) for the Environmental Engineering Series (0819): If applying for this position as an Environmental Engineer, this position requires that you have a current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico.
