Help

Quantum scientists in CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology collaborate as program managers executing programs. You will use your expertise to shape the future of quantum technology and to better understand and define the research efforts of CIA.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to convey technical information to a diverse audience both through written reports and presentations.
  • A background in quantum physics, quantum information, and/or quantum computing.
  • Strong teamwork skills especially with working in interdisciplinary teams with professionals from other fields of physics and engineering and in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
  • Proven record of research and accomplishment.
  • Experience in developing and executing to project budgets.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation

Education

  • Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics or other related technical field.
  • At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
