Help

As a Power Sources Engineer/Scientist within the CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T), you will apply your expertise to solve complex technical challenges and deliver solutions in support of CIA's mission to collect foreign intelligence.

DS&T Power Sources Engineers and Scientists span a wide range of technical areas and work collaboratively to provide world-class solutions and to meet CIA mission needs. Job duties range from managing Research and Development portfolios to designing exquisite power solutions.

    • Nuclear engineering
    • Physical sciences
    • Physics
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following functional disciplines:
    • Systems engineering
    • Prototype design and fabrication

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following:
    • Chemical engineering
    • Chemistry
    • Electrical engineering
    • Materials science
    • Mechanical engineering
    • Nuclear engineering
    • Physical sciences
    • Physics
  • At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
