Summary

Students Enrolled or Accepted for Enrollment During the Current or Next Upcoming Semester in a Degree-seeking Program (diploma, certificate, etc.) in an Accredited/Qualifying Educational Institution, on a Full or Half-time Basis.
Receive specific instructions on the manuals to use, procedures to follow, and the end product to be obtained.
In a training environment make direct application of varied rules, procedure, and precedents to their assignments.
In a training environment selecting standard practices and data to be applied to specific problems where precedents are applicable.
Complete formal and informal training, as well as rotational assignments intended to provide and enhance necessary technical competencies.
Work on programing code for audio/video control systems such as Python and C+/C++ as well as configure, test and troubleshoot conference room audio/visual systems
Must be enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) at a qualifying educational institution on a full or half time basis.
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
Educational enrollment MUST be on a half-time or full-time basis. Half-time basis is defined by the academic institution that the student is enrolled or accepted into.

Student Interns qualify based on their educational achievements.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
For the GG-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.
For the GG-05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
For the GG-07 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education or eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision after completing a bachelor's degree.
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

The duration of a student trainee/ intern appointment is a trial period.
