The incumbent of this position serves as a senior Health Communications Specialist within the Division of Communications, All of Us Research Program.

In order to qualify for a Health Communications Specialist position at the GS-11 level, you must:
A. have completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M., if related;
OR
B. have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: designing and writing a variety of informational and educational and products; drafting responses regarding content issues; AND collecting and analyzing data to target and test messages and evaluate delivery strategies.
OR
C. have a combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
In order to qualify for a Health Communications Specialist position at the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing and presenting a variety of informational and educational materials and products; drafting responses for review regarding content issues; reviewing communication practices and recommending approaches to increase awareness among a variety of audiences; collecting and analyzing data to assess public reaction to material and products and advising on campaign modification strategies; AND assisting in developing social marketing campaigns for mass communications.
In order to qualify for a Health Communications Specialist position at the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing and executing a variety of informational and educational materials and products; preparing and responding to inquiries regarding content issues; modifying standard communication practices and approaches to increase awareness among a variety of audiences; evaluating and reporting on the overall the effectiveness communications campaigns or programs; AND providing recommendations to senior management regarding new social media strategies on communication and content activities.
