Major Duties of the Position:
Position will perform faculty duties in an academic department at the United States Air Force Academy. Will teach and mentor undergraduate students by providing appropriately tailored course materials, conducting engaging classroom activities, and assessing student academic performance and suitability for commissioning. Will participate in professional activities in area of specialization, plan, create, and assist others in course and curriculum development, apply advanced administrative skills in support of the department and faculty-wide missions, and direct teams and committees composed of faculty members. Will demonstrate continued proficiency in and mastery of duties and expectations defined for Assistant Professor while building increased leadership skills, administrative acumen, and enhanced scholarly reputation. This is a tenure track position. Tenure can be achieved through achievement.

Earned doctorate in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline

Recent experience providing instruction at a military academy.

EDUCATION:

FOREIGN EDUCATION:
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the educational requirements. However, you must show proof that the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying in the form of an "official" statement of U.S. equivalency from a Department of Education approved (non-federal) agency (i.e. AICE, NACES), who will complete a U.S. Standard of Education Conversion.
