INDIAN PREFERENCE: Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC, Section 472). As a Custodial WorkerWG-3566-2, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Performs comprehensive cleaning of classrooms, education laboratories, computer rooms, offices, hallways, dormitory/residential, and restroom facilities, etc.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies, cleans spills, cleans drinking fountains, mirrors, tables, walls, fixtures, blinds, light fixtures, etc.
Empties trash cans and relines cans with liners.
Sweeps, mops, steam cleans, waxes, polishes, and buffs floors.
Vacuums and shampoos carpets and rugs.
Cleans and dusts furniture, woodwork etc.
Washes walls and partitions, venetian blinds and windows.
Keeps all buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas clean of all debris and litter.
Ensures that appropriate and necessary levels of inventory are on hand at assigned areas, orders necessary supplies and materials, and maintains accurate records of received and distributed items.

Qualifications
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualifications and will be evaluated on their ability to perform duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope and quality of all experience and training.
